Elementary Classes
Weekly Class: Improv for 1st and 2nd graders

Kinder & First Grade

Game-based early Improv with an emphasis on supporting and building on one another’s ideas, listening to find the funny and flexible, creative collaboration. Low-stakes showcases held at the end of each session.

Long Form Improv-Curious Teens? We’ve got just the class for you… Supportive, low pressure, and laughter-filled, this class emphasizes listening, collaboration and creative risk taking. Students are invited to perform in a showcase at the end of each session.

Continuing & Advanced Improv for Teens
8th – 12th Grade
- Sundays, 3:00 to 4:30 at ColdTowne Theater
- Fall Session: September 13 – December 13
- Multiple Performances at ExAb All Ages Night at ColdTowneÂ
- $375
Next level Improv for students who have mastered the basics and are ready to level up in their Improv journey. Students will be divided into two or more groups based on experience, interests, and specific show requirements.
A Note: Students must have Improv specific training to enroll, preferably at ExAb, The Hideout or Zach. General performance or theatrical training/experience is not an adequate substitute. Believe us when we say this is an important rule.
- At this time, masks are optional during indoor classes.
- There will be an end-of-session showcase and opportunities to perform at ExAb Nights and at the Excused Absence Comedy Festival.
