On Thursday, October 12, 2017 Excused Absence Comedy and ColdTowne Theater performed on the South Steps of the Texas State Capitol for over 1500 5th and 6th graders from all over Texas! Our show was a part of Red Ribbon Week and featured both interactive improv and sketch that encouraged kids to make healthy choices and stay drug free!
We followed up the show with a series of short workshops. The kids (and teachers!) were seriously hilarious and we loved the opportunity to use comedy to deliver an important message.
