PK & Elementary Classes
Weekly Class: Leaping Legends – Early Improv for ages 4 to 6

Early Improv for Pre-K/Kinder: Leaping Legends
Thursdays, 5:30 to 6:15 at ColdTowne Theater
- March 26 – May 7 (No class April 9)
- In-class performance for parents, Thursday, May 7, at 5:30 pm. We will invite parents in after a warm-up and check-in.

Playful, story-driven performing arts classes focused on listening, flexibility, and creative collaboration. Improv games and improvised stories form the basis of each class, and a low-stakes showcase will be held at the end of each session.

Improv for 1st & 2nd Graders: Improv in Action
- 📅 Sundays, 1 to 1:50 at ColdTowne Theater OR 2 to 2:50 pm
- Spring Session 1: March 15 – May 10

Game-based early Improv with an emphasis on supporting and building on one another’s ideas, listening to find the funny and flexible, creative collaboration. A low-stakes showcase will be held at the end of each session.

Improv for 3rd – 5th Graders: Epic Improv

Essential Improv and performance skills with a focus on listening, saying yes to others’ ideas, and finding the fun in what’s already there. Supportive, low-pressure, and laughter-filled. Students are invited to perform in a showcase at the end of each session.

- Public performance at 5 pm at ExAb All Ages Night at ColdTowne date TBD.

Long Form Improv-Curious Teens? We’ve got just the class for you… Supportive, low pressure, and laughter-filled, this class emphasizes listening, collaboration and creative risk taking. Students are invited to perform in a showcase at the end of each session.
Weekly Class: Continuing Improv for High School Students

Continuing Improv for High School Students: Advanced Topics
- 📅 Sundays, 3:30 – 4:45 at ColdTowne Theater
- January 11 – May 7
Next level Improv for students who have mastered the basics and are ready to level up in their Improv journey. Students are invited to perform in a showcase at the end of each session.
A Note: Students must have significant Improv specific training to enroll, preferably at ExAb, The Hideout or Zach. General performance or theatrical training/experience is not an adequate substitute. Believe us when we say this is an important rule.
- At this time, masks are optional during indoor classes.
- There will be an end-of-session showcase and opportunities to perform at ExAb Nights and at the Excused Absence Comedy Festival.
